"Come to me, all you who labour and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."

Jesus · Matthew 11:28

You know the spiral.

  • You replay a conversation from three days ago.
  • You rehearse a problem that hasn't happened yet.
  • You start to pray, and halfway through you're worrying again.
  • You lie awake running the same what-ifs, one more time.

You're not a bad Christian because your mind races. You have a tired mind looking for somewhere safe to go, and Jesus already named that place: "Come to me." This book helps you go there, bringing every looping thought to God in prayer, anchored in what He has already promised.

One simple way to hand every worry to God

Every day in the book walks you through the PRAY reset, so turning to the Lord becomes your first move instead of your last. Use it any time your thoughts start to loop.

Pause

Notice the spiral and stop. Three slow breaths. "Lord, I'm turning to You."

Release

Tell God the worry honestly. He wants the real version, not the tidy one.

Anchor

Read the day's Bible verse twice, slowly. Hold on to one of God's promises.

Yield

Pray the prayer, place the worry in Jesus' hands, and take one small faithful step.

Day 1

Bring Everything

In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:6-7

Paul wrote these words from a prison cell, not a quiet retreat. When he says "in nothing be anxious," he isn't handing you a rule to feel guilty about. He's handing you a door.

Notice what he asks you to bring: everything. Not only the big, respectable worries. The email you haven't answered. The comment you keep replaying. The thing you're embarrassed to still be thinking about.

And notice what God promises in return. Not an explanation. Not a guarantee that the situation changes by Friday. Peace that guards your heart and your thoughts, like a soldier standing at a gate. Your mind doesn't have to stand guard alone tonight.

Pray

Father, I'm tired of carrying all of this in my head. Here is everything, the big things and the small things I'm ashamed to still be thinking about. I name them before You now. Thank You that You listen without rolling Your eyes. I don't need every answer today. I need Your peace to stand at the door of my mind. Guard my heart and my thoughts in Christ Jesus. Amen.

Reflect

Write down every worry on your mind right now, big or small. Then write "Given to God" beside each one.

Carry this with you

Everything, Lord. I bring You everything.
